ATTITUDE / INTER PERSONAL SKILLS

This 8 letter word is widely used these days in positive and negative connotation which reflects upon the outlook of in individual in dealing with day to day matters. The background of attitude formation, behavior pattern, carrying one self, management of attitude, reflection of attitude, manifestation of attitude and conversion of negativity into positivist is dealt in this presentation.

This presentation was of more than 2 and half hours and full attention and focus was given by the participants.

Stress and its Management

In this fast moving world with busy scenario, traffic jams, dead lines and high expectations employees become stressed out and this leads to bad work performance and loss of man hours.

This presentation was of two hours plus. What is stress? How stress is defined? Recognized? Factors leading to stress? Factors aggravating stress, management of stress, soothing and allaying factors, avoidance of stress and how to prevent others being affected by your stress?

WHY EMPLOYEES LEAVE

A case study which deals with the multiple reasons for an employee to leave his job.

It focuses on trigger mechanism which leads an employee to a point of no return. Alerts supervisors and managers to look for those stress points which they should avoid in handling employees at the same time creating congenial and healthy working environments.

Personal Grooming & Communication Skills

An illustrative and absorbing animated presentation which requires display of high degree of presentation skills. This is a must for front office managers, floor managers, receptionist and people who are given the job of MEET GREET AND ASSIST.

Company secretaries, PSO’s and people in interactive job mode have a chance to brush up their communications skills. The emphasis is laid on correct pronunciation, how to raise and lower their voice in order to make their verbal oratory more emphatic, forceful and in putting their message across.

Group Discussion

OBJECTIVE / SUBJECTIVE ACTIVITY

The participants are divided into batches of 4-5 people per batch and given assignments for them to read and come up with their solutions and resolutions. A group discussion follows with each group.

The time available to the trainer is spent in having one to one dialogue with each participant so that a feedback to the employer / management can be given by the trainer.

The Participants were very interactive and friendly…………. And it was pleasure to switch from English to Urdu to English but I got tired at the end…….

Suggestions and Comments:

Ø Course was informative and will enhance our output and capability.

Ø It was good to learn skills other than banking in a useful session that we will share with our team.

Ø A unique learning session. More video/visual to be included, concepts of impression and expression was a good learning to be adopted.

Ø Things which we already practiced but usually ignore their importance are explained very well and we will improve them further.

PREAMBLE

MOTIVATION & JOB LOYALTY

In this presentation the basics concepts of H.R.M are explained. Employees are motivated to do justice to their Jobs and put in their utmost for increased efficiency and productivity of the company which will be mutually beneficial to both in the long run. Employees are emphasized and mentored to be loyal to their company and what they gain by sticking to one Job. What they loose by changing jobs frequently. Illustrated with examples, slogans and references.

At the same time employers are advised to fulfill their side of the agreement by creating job satisfaction, Merit recognition accolades, rewards and succession planning.

Employers are also advised to retain their work force by constant monitoring of the employees plus and to have an exit interview in case an employee falls prey to head hunting.

HOW TO DEAL WITH IRRITATED CLIENTS

In normal course of day to day routine handling some clients / end users become irritated due to wrong handling.

This is a short hypothetical Presentation in which the Call Centre trainees or people handling public relations or complaints are given tips on how to handle such situations.

CONCLUSION:

It was my first experience with Habib Bank Limited and I was very much happy to be a part of their learning team and to share their experience.

HBL L & D Centre at Karachi is the state of Art teaching center of excellence in Pakistan.

I would request other multinational and corporate entities to emulate their example……….

I look forward to greater interaction with HBL……
